MSKIDS (hereinafter, “the Organization,” “we,” or “MSKIDS”) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing free or accessible math tutoring to children and youth worldwide. MSKIDS operates with an active presence in multiple countries, including, but not limited to, the United States of America, Mexico, Spain, Greece, and China, and reserves the right to expand its operations, programs, and presence to any other nation or territory in accordance with its mission and institutional capacity.
Any reference to specific jurisdictions in these Terms is for illustrative purposes. MSKIDS is committed to complying with applicable laws and regulations in each country where it operates, consistent with its international character.
By accessing, browsing, or using the website https://ms-kids.org/ (hereinafter, “the Site”), as well as any of the services, forms, educational platforms, or resources provided by MSKIDS (hereinafter, “the Services”), you manifest your full and unconditional agreement with these Terms of Service (hereinafter, “the Terms”).
If you access the Site on behalf of a minor, you declare that you have parental authority, legal guardianship, or valid parental consent to accept these Terms on behalf of said minor. If you do not agree with any of the conditions established herein, you must refrain from using the Site and the Services.
MSKIDS offers the following services, including but not limited to:
Math Tutoring: Academic support sessions in mathematics taught by qualified volunteers for students. Sessions may be individual or group, synchronous or asynchronous, via digital platforms.
Volunteer Tutor Registration: Facilitation of the registration and onboarding process for volunteer tutors using Google Forms and other digital tools.
Class Scheduling: Coordination and assignment of tutoring sessions between tutors and students, subject to availability.
Donations (Coming Soon): A future system for receiving financial donations from individuals or entities globally to sustain the mission.
Educational Resources: Publication of educational content, support materials, and articles related to mathematics education.
MSKIDS reserves the right to modify, restrict, or discontinue any of its Services at any time without prior notice.
Eligibility: Services are primarily directed at minors under the supervision of a responsible adult. Adult users must have full legal capacity to contract in their respective jurisdictions.
Permitted Use: You agree to use the Site exclusively for lawful purposes in line with the educational mission of MSKIDS.
Prohibited Conduct: Users may not engage in illegal or fraudulent activities, impersonate others, attempt unauthorized access to systems, distribute harmful content/malware, or collect personal data from other users without consent.
User Responsibility: You are exclusively responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any access credentials and for all activities performed under your name.
Ownership: All content on the Site—including texts, educational materials, logos, graphics, and source code—is the exclusive property of MSKIDS or its licensed providers and is protected by international intellectual property laws.
Limited License: MSKIDS grants a personal, non-transferable, and revocable license to use content for personal, non-commercial educational purposes only.
User Content: By sharing content through our platforms, you grant MSKIDS a worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable license to use and distribute said content for educational and non-commercial purposes.
Trademarks: The name “MSKIDS” and its logo are protected trademarks. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
MSKIDS does not guarantee specific academic results. Student progress depends on multiple factors outside our control, such as individual effort and the student’s formal educational context. Volunteer tutors act in good faith, but their participation does not constitute a professional paid service relationship. MSKIDS is not responsible for grades, school evaluations, or pedagogical decisions made by volunteers.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MSKIDS shall not be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Site. Given that the Site is hosted on third-party infrastructure (GoDaddy), we do not guarantee an error-free or uninterrupted service. In no event shall MSKIDS’ total liability exceed zero dollars ($0.00 USD), given the free and non-profit nature of the Services.
Tutors act as independent collaborators and not as employees or agents of MSKIDS. There is no employment or agency relationship. Tutors must adhere to child protection principles, student dignity, and confidentiality policies at all times. MSKIDS reserves the right to reject or remove any volunteer without cause.
Once enabled, donations will be managed by certified third-party processors (e.g., PCI DSS compliant). MSKIDS does not store financial data directly. Tax deductibility depends on the donor’s jurisdiction; MSKIDS does not guarantee tax benefits in any specific country.
MSKIDS reserves the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. The current version will always be available on the Site. Continued use of the Site following changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by the general principles of international law applicable to non-profit organizations. In the event of a dispute, parties shall first seek an amicable solution. If an agreement is not reached, disputes may be submitted to international arbitration or the competent jurisdiction according to applicable law.
These Terms, along with the Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy, constitute the entire agreement between MSKIDS and the user. If any provision is declared invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force.
